This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.nicholeanneferro.com (the “Site”). We respect your right to privacy.  The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to describe and disclose to you what kind of information we may collect from you and how we may use or disclose that information in connection with the Services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  For example, we use Wix to power our online store--you can read more about how Wix uses your Personal Information.  We also use Wix Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site.

We may also use and disclose Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information: to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity, fraud, or activities that threaten the integrity, functionality, or operation of our Site or Services; to protect and defend our rights or property or the rights or property of others; as required in any legal proceedings by courts, administrative agencies, or procedural rules; as required by federal or state laws; and in connection with a financing, sale, merger, or reorganization of our business or assets.  Any successor-in-interest to our business would acquire the information we maintain, including Personally Identifiable Information, and may alter the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We do not and will not sell any of your Personally Identifiable Information to any third party for purposes of marketing, advertising, or soliciting.  We may, however, have to disclose your information, including Non-Personally Identifiable Information or Personally Identifiable Information, to other companies or entities in the event that our business may be sold or sold to another company or entity.  In that case, your information, including Non-Personally Identifiable Information or Personally Identifiable Information, may be sold or transferred to such acquiring company or entity.

BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING

As advertisers on Facebook and through our Facebook page, we, (not Facebook) may collect content or information from a Facebook user and such information may be used in the same manner specified in this Privacy Policy. You consent to our collection of such information.

We abide by Facebook’s Data Use Restrictions.

Any ad data collected, received, or derived from our Facebook ad (“Facebook advertising data”) is only shared with someone acting on our behalf, such as our service provider. We are responsible for ensuring that our service providers protect any Facebook advertising data or any other information obtained from us, limit our use of all of that information, and keep it confidential and secure. Any customer data collected through a Facebook advertising campaign is funneled to our CRM which is then used to initiate contact. 

We do not use Facebook advertising data for any purpose (including retargeting, commingling data across multiple advertisers’ campaigns, or allowing piggybacking or redirecting with tags), except on an aggregate and anonymous basis (unless authorized by Facebook) and only to assess the performance and effectiveness of our Facebook advertising campaigns.

We do not use Facebook advertising data, including the targeting criteria for a Facebook ad, to build, append to, edit, influence, or augment user profiles, including profiles associated with any mobile device identifier or other unique identifiers that identifies any particular user, browser, computer or device.

We do not transfer any Facebook advertising data (including anonymous, aggregate, or derived data) to any ad network, ad exchange, data broker, or other advertising or monetization-related service.

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

When you create an account, you may receive certain emails:

TRANSACTIONAL EMAILS

When you first register with the Site we may send you a welcome email that provides information and a PDF. If you make a Purchase, we may send you an email confirming your Purchase. We may also, from time to time, send you other emails concerning your account status.

 

NEWSLETTERS

We may send you newsletters and other emails about new or upcoming services, or offers. If you decide you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt-out as instructed in each email or in your account settings.

EMAILS FROM THE SITE

When you make a purchase, you agree to receive emails from the site. To opt out of emails sent directly by the site, please follow the opt-out instructions set forth in the emails.

We are not responsible for removing, deleting, amending, retrieving, or modifying your Personally Identifiable Information from the lists of any Third Party Services or other third parties who have previously been provided your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
